Public Sector Integrity Commissioner to hold a news briefing following the tabling of a Case Report on wrongdoing at the Canadian Food Inspection Agency

Ottawa, February 22, 2017 – Joe Friday, Public Sector Integrity Commissioner, will table a Case Report of founded wrongdoing with the Speakers of the House of Commons and the Senate of Canada on Thursday, February 23, 2017.

This is Commissioner Friday’s second report within a week with regards to a harassment matter. The wrongdoing, in this report, is related to two senior officials at the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. The Report will be considered public once it is tabled at the start of the sitting day of the House of Commons at 10 a.m.

The Commissioner will be available through a telephone news briefing at 10:30 a.m. or for subsequent individual interviews.
