On Thursday, March 28, 2013, the Application in the matter of Gérald Lambert and Health Canada was dismissed by the Public Servants Disclosure Protection Tribunal in light of the two parties reaching an out-of-court settlement. As agreed by the parties, details of the settlement cannot be made public. A settlement means that the parties agreed to resolve the complaint prior to a hearing.
Of the three files referred to the Tribunal by the Integrity Commissioner, this is the second reprisal file where the parties resolved the complaint prior to a hearing.
