On Monday, June 11, 2012, a settlement was reached through mediation before the Public Servants Disclosure Protection Tribunal in the reprisal complaint matter between Mr. Wayne Roberts and Atomic Energy Canada Limited. As a result, Public Sector Integrity Commissioner, Mario Dion, has withdrawn the application that was filed with the Tribunal on September 7, 2011. As agreed by the parties, details of the settlement cannot be made public. A mediated settlement means that the parties agreed to resolve the complaint prior to a hearing.
